Artificial Intelligence in Our Schools
AI is already in our classrooms, whether or not we have a plan for it. GHAPS needs a clear, practical policy that helps students build real thinking skills alongside AI, supports teachers instead of burdening them, and protects student data. I work on AI governance professionally, and this is the issue I bring the most direct expertise to.

Everything a district wants to do depends on getting the money right. I will push for budgets the public can actually understand, honest long-term planning for enrollment and facilities, and a default question in every decision: what does this do for classrooms?

Trust between a district and its community is built through listening, transparency, and showing up consistently, all year long. I want GHAPS to make community input a habit: accessible meetings, plain-language communication, and real feedback loops that demonstrably shape decisions.
